Our journey together started in 1992 at the University of Oregon, where a shared love of art and creativity brought us together. Just a year later, we were married, beginning a lifelong partnership that has blended business, family, and adventure for over 30 years.

Francisco earned his BFA in Photography and MFA in Sculpture from the University of Oregon, later sharing his passion as an instructor at Clark College and Portland Community College. Kim pursued a different creative path, earning her MA in Art Therapy from Marylhurst College.

In 1995, we opened Campbell Salgado Studio, a boutique portrait studio in Portland, where we spent decades capturing the spirit of families, children, and love stories through our lenses. That same love for storytelling and connection naturally led us to real estate—helping people find homes that reflect their lives and dreams.

Now empty nesters, we love life in Sellwood Moreland, often spotted zipping around on our e-bikes, whether heading to an open house or just enjoying the city. Kim’s passion for gardening keeps her busy on our well-loved corner at SE 16th & Tacoma, where she’s always tending to something green. She’s also a board member of the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon (HPSO), sharing her love for plants and design with fellow garden enthusiasts. Francisco, meanwhile, is always dreaming up the next home project, bringing his sculptor’s eye to real estate and renovations. When we’re not working, we’re soaking up movies, traveling, or sharing good meals with close friends.

Francisco became a licensed real estate broker in 2015, with Kim lending her marketing expertise along the way. Eventually, she made it official, joining him as a licensed broker. Together, as the Campbell Salgado Real Estate Group with Soldera Properties, we bring a fresh perspective to real estate—blending artistry, market savvy, and a deep understanding of home design and remodeling.
