Portland Property Management Companies
A Renter's Resource Guide
If you're renting in Portland before buying, one of the first things you'll notice is how many different property management companies operate here. Some manage a handful of single-family homes in Southeast. Others oversee thousands of units across the metro area. Knowing who manages a property — and what their reputation is — can save you a lot of time and frustration during your search.
This list is drawn from a community-maintained resource and covers companies actively operating in the Portland metro area. We've added website links, portfolio notes where available, and a note about each company's focus so you can quickly determine whether they're worth your time for the type of rental you're looking for.
Google ratings fluctuate and reflect a mix of tenant and landlord reviews, so treat them as directional signals rather than verdicts. Read the actual reviews for context.
A Note on Verified Ratings

How to Use This List as a Renter
How to Use This List as a Renter
When you find a rental you like, search the property management company on Google to see recent tenant reviews. Focus on reviews mentioning maintenance response times, deposit return practices, and communication during tenancy — these tend to be more revealing than general impressions.
If a property you're applying for is managed by a company with a public listing of available units (like 247prop or Gateway), you can browse their full inventory to see whether there are other options you haven't found yet.
The community-maintained source list that this guide draws from is available at the PDX House Hunting Toolkit on GitHub. It is updated by community contributors and may include companies added after this post was published.
